Anoush

Founder of Luvo Matchmaking and the Constellation

Anoush has spent nearly two decades creating rooms where people meet in person. In 2007 she brought a British-inspired approach to meeting people to the United States. That single idea grew into the Constellation: seven in-person brands for dating, friendship and networking.

She created Luvo Matchmaking so the people the Constellation has come to know could be introduced with the same care. Every Luvo client still begins with a conversation with her.

Elevate the setting, and the experience changes.

A refined foundation

She started with the room.

When Anoush arrived in 2007, most singles events were held in coffee shops and plain meeting spaces. The idea had promise, but the settings rarely reflected the experience people hoped for when meeting someone new.

She moved her evenings into beautiful lounges, intimate cocktail bars and venues with the feel of a private club, hosted with warmth, humor and a less-is-more approach. Professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives and curious, thoughtful people followed.

As the evenings grew, so did the range of people coming through the door. Some wanted to date, some to build a network, some to make new friends. Rather than fit them all into one room, she built a brand for each.

What she built

The Constellation, and where it leads.

Seven in-person brands, each for a different kind of person, together hosting more than 250 evenings a month across more than 50 cities.

Her standards

The principles Luvo is built on.

1

Only people we know

Luvo never scouts strangers in gyms, clubs or bars, and never uses dating apps or fake profiles to find matches. Every introduction comes from a guest who chose to come to a Constellation evening, stood out and was invited into a circle.

2

Complete transparency

Pricing is published openly, and so is exactly where matches come from. No consultations just to learn the cost, and no sales pitch.

3

Human judgment over algorithms

Matches are made by people who have watched how someone engages in a real room, not by sorting profiles.

4

Discretion and dignity

Every client and every match is treated with privacy and care, from the first conversation to the last introduction.

Founder-guided matchmaking

Every client begins with Anoush.

Your first step with Luvo is a personal conversation with Anoush. It covers:

  • Who you are, and how you like to spend your life
  • Your values and what matters most in a partner
  • The relationship you hope to build

From there, a dedicated matchmaker manages each introduction within her philosophy and standards.
